J's History

Tampa Salsa: Originally from Indiana, started dancing the ripe age of 8 yrs. Studied all forms of dance from Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Partnering, and all forms of Ballroom dancing which include Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Swing, Rumba, Samba, Cha-Cha, Salsa, and Bachatta. Was a competition dancer for many years winning regional and national championships. Began teaching ballroom lessons in Indiana for several years prior to moving down to Florida in 1999. Continued teaching ballroom dance at Fred Astaire Dance studio in Sarasota for 4 years. I took a break from the dance environment for about 8 years while starting a family and coninuing my education and now I am back. I have recently discovered how hot the Tampa Salsa Scene is and I love it. There are so many places to experience and people to meet. Follow me and I will show you what the Tampa Salsa Scene is all about!!
